Sand the area until it is smooth. If the hole is a half foot wide or bigger, you’ll need to cover the hole with another piece of drywall. Covering a bigger hole is a more complicated procedure than repairing a smaller hole in your drywall.

They’ll have the tools and know-how to get the damaged wall repaired so that it looks like new.
