I live in a condo in Town Shores, Gulfport and have a drop down acoustic tile ceiling that I want removed and replaced with a normal looking ceiling. There are can lights in the ceiling now and I want them replaced also with new lighting. I was told that I need a licensed general contractor to get the permit to do the work.
